I started the diet in early September 2022 and by November I’d lost inches from my waist and hips, whilst still socialising and eating with my family. I now want to share my tips and tricks for losing inches with other over 60 women like myself who are constantly told you can’t have this or that in order to lose weight. This diet includes intermittent fasting. The more science you read about this form of eating, the more sense it makes. Just as your body and your brain needs sleep, it also needs to rest from being in feeding mode, digesting and processing food and drink that is going down your digestive tract. But my version is much less restrictive than the most popular intermittent fasting diets such as the 5:2 or 16:8.

WHO IS DEZ SCOTT?

 

So who am I? I’m a 68-year-old YouTuber and content creator. This is my third book. My first, Fabulous Functions for the Faint-Hearted was published under her my maiden name in 2016. My second, as yet un-published, is a detective novel entitled The Network. I am married with two grown up children.

I’ve contributed to blogs including Henpicked , appeared on podcasts such as Boombossing It and wrote a chapter for the 2016 book Hot Women Rock by Pat Duckworth by Pat Duckworth.
