I recently bought Him Indoors a new dressing gown, from Soho House, no less, and when it arrived, oh how I coveted it! It is a gorgeous royal blue plush, warm, cozy and so soft, that I seriously thought about buying myself one too, although it was £85. Anyhow, I couldn’t, as they only come in one size and that size is huge on my 5ft 4ins frame. So, hunting around for something similar, I found this beauty, namely the Iris & Lilly Women’s Dressing Gown on Amazon. Now, I’ve never bought any item of clothing from Amazon before, not because I was snobby about it but just because I didn’t think the quality would be much cop, but I was wrong. Firstly, it fits perfectly, secondly, it is a almost a match for the Soho House version, except it’s more velvety to the touch. Both are made from 100% polyester but the Soho House version is of the recycled variety. I am so delighted with it and for the princely sum of just £24.99.

Flushed with success, I then looked for some equally plush slippers.  I’d been coveting the Hush animal print sliders, but I really wanted to keep my toes warm, so decided to give these beauties a go, and I am not disappointed. Again, these Snug Leaves Ladies’ Fluffy Memory Foam Slip On Slippers are only £14.99 compared to Hush’s £55.

And finally, I needed a replacement for my rather sad looking Uniqlo Heat Tech scooped neck body warmers – the off white ones were looking distinctly off – and came across these. The scooped necks are perfect for wearing under V necks and cardis, and the white is properly white.
